Big Ideas for Growing Readership and Revenue
Newspaper professionals from the across the southern states will gather virtually this fall for the annual ArkLaMiss Audience Development and Marketing Conference, Nov. 5-6.
This engaging and interactive conference is for publishers, general managers, circulation and audience development professionals — or anyone who wants to expand their understanding of tools to help community newspapers and affiliated digital media reach greater heights in revenue and readership.
Peter W. Wagner, publisher of the N’West Iowa Review, is keynote presenter for this year’s conference and will discuss practical topics on the future of print and digital and high-dollar ideas for promotions and building revenue.
The event will also include a Hot Ideas Exchange, during which members will share their best revenue-generating and cost-saving tips. Dennis Dunn, circulation director of the Annistar (AL) Star, will again lead the Hot Ideas presentation.
Time is also set aside for the annual Newspaper Round Table on Thursday afternoon. Open to newspaper publishers, editors and key personnel, the round table covers a variety of topics including revenue, expenses, special promotions, management tips and more.
Traditionally hosted by press associations in Arkansas and Mississippi, the move of the conference to a virtual platform is expanding its reach this year with support from Alabama and Tennessee Press.
